The historic beauty of Durham City and its university inspired the interior design for this 253-room student accommodation overlooking the River Wear and Durham castle. Traditional materials and furnishings create a homely atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Stratford, London

Eleanor Rosa House is a brand-new intercollegiate Hall of Residence built in partnership between UPP and the University of London and located in the vibrant area of Stratford City. The building, a 30-storey tower, includes cluster-flats, studios, communal lounges and an observatory on the top floor.

Prague , Czech Republic - work in progress

Almanac Prague is a Vital Center located in the heart of the city on the banks of Vltava River. The Vital Centrum - a combined wellness and medical center - also accommodates a Luxury Boutique Hotel, offering 203 rooms with views overlooking the castle, dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle .

Carrying on the tradition from the building’s historic past, this project will highlight the inclusion and benefits of an Ayurveda center offering a holistic healing approach that includes massage, meditation and nutritional guidelines. The facilities will also include a heated pool and select treatments that are designed to create maximum well-being.

Finsbury Park, London

A year after opening Sketch House, UAL commissioned an ample and unused ground floor space as a canteen where breakfast would be served to overseas visitors during the summer holiday. With flexible seating and tabling, the Canteen can cater for up to 700 people for a continental breakfast.

Elephant & Castle, London

Highline is a student accommodation exclusively for UAL students, a short walk from London’s South bank. The building, arranged over nine floors, runs alongside Victorian brick-built railway arches, which have been refurbished to form rentable artists’ studios as part of the scheme.

Walthamstow, London

The 527 student rooms, built as a 7-storey block, surround a central landscaped courtyard and consist of 45 studios and 482 cluster beds. A former mannequin factory’s site inspired the interior design and the artwork, including a suspended thread installation in the entrance lobby double volume.

Sketch House is exclusively for the next generation of UAL students studying fashion and textile design. This, along with a thriving local artist community, inspired the interior design of the 475 student rooms, cluster kitchens, communal lounges, and all other shared amenities.
